The Shop
Established in 1982, we’re an independent, family run butchers shop in Colyford, Devon. We’re rightly proud of our reputation as one of the best butchers shops around, and work extremely hard to maintain the standards and quality that our customers expect.
Sourcing the very best local meats from our long standing suppliers, and then preparing them with care and attention to detail every morning to set up and dress the shop counter is what gets us out of bed every morning. You’ll find nothing but the very best, with a good selection always available, and great offers that you’ll find nowhere else. And of course, when you visit the shop, you’ll have our undivided attention. We’re here to please, so just ask if you’re after some advice, looking for something a bit different, or any particular preparation requirements. We’ll do our absolute best to meet your needs.
Right next door (in fact we’re all part of the same building) you’ll find plenty of other food treasures from our friends Racheal and Geoff at Colyford Post Office and General Stores. One look around their store and you’ll very quickly realise that they share our passion for great food and quality ingredients. From fresh fruit and seasonal local vegetables, produce from local artisans, to fine wines and quality real ales, there’s a little something for everyone. In fact, between us you’ll find everything you need for that special occasion or get together.
